Library visitors are to turn off the ringer or other audible signals of cell phones and pagers (beepers) while in the library. The use of cell phones and pagers (beepers) in the library is prohibited because the ringing and the resulting conversations disturb other library users and library staff. Failure to comply may result in the loss of library privileges.

Library staff will post signs notifying the public of this policy.
