From Julia Child to Paul Prudhomme, this site provides information on top chefs and cookbook authors with a valuable set of links to their cookbook information, biographies, interview transcripts, and a limited number of recipes.

This site, written and maintained by Todd Wilbur, provides new weekly recipes listed chronologically, and allows the user to re-create brand-name products at home. 

Veggie's Unite! (http://www.vegweb.com)
This is a well-organized site that contains over 2,700 vegan recipes, an online recipe exchange forum, and a monthly newsletter.  Other items located here include:  a weekly meal planner and grocer list maker, a glossary of vegetarian and cooking terms, and links to other vegetarian information on the Internet.
