CHID is a database produced by health-related agencies of the Federal Government. It provides titles, abstracts, and availability information for health information and health education resources. Formal, but effective.

Produced by Sweden's Karolinska Institutet, this site contains a great variety of information from articles to academic treatises.

This website is a gateway to self-help information that provides over 6,500 resources updated almost daily.  Links range from general issues such as divorce, aging, or loneliness to specific mental illnesses.

This website lets you search where your doctor went to school, board certifications, legal actions, professional activities, etc. However, it only searches New York doctors.

This is a bilingual (English and Spanish) website containing medical information on items such as preventive health, diseases, and other health topics.

This particular webpage, developed by John Grohol, Ph.D., contains three sections that list both general and professional websites include mental health, psychology, and support resources.

Site contains a searchable database and links concerning pharmaceutical sites.

This website provides sections for both doctors and consumers that include personalized health information, support communities, and medical news.
