SUMMER 2010
MAKE WAVES @ YOUR LIBRARY!
A Summer Reading Program for Teens in Grades 6-12
July 6th - August 7th, 2010
Teens are encouraged to read 5 (or more) books @ home during the 5-week program. Write a short report (forms are provided) on each book you read & bring it to the Moffat Library on either Tuesdays, Thursdays, OR Saturdays. A Moffat Library staff member will record the books they read on their log. Teens get points for each book they read and for completing various activities during the program. For every 10 points earned, they receive a prize (up to 100 points or 10 prizes)! In addition to the reading program, we will also be presenting other fun programs like movies, cooking classes, crafts, & other fun stuff that summer reading program participants can sign up for also! A separate registration for these programs is going on now. But space is limited. Please Note: In-person registration is required for the Summer Reading Program. At the end of the 5-week reading program, all participants who have read at least 5 books during the program will receive a goodie bag! Sound good? Call 496-5483 for more info.
